Basic Dance Education
DGU is a 4-year upper secondary education (STX) combined with an elite basic dance education (DGU). DGU is for dancers who are aiming for a professional career in dance. DGU is a certified dance education of the highest quality in modern dance and classical ballet with a focus on high technical ability and artistic creativity. DGU is the direct route to qualifying for auditions in leading national and international dance schools. The Royal Danish Theatre Ballet School Odense has artistic responsibility and Odense Katedralskole has academic responsibility. The education qualifies the student for admission to universities and other schools of higher education.
